Contact and Record Routing

Use this page for questions about the site itself and for the official Cass County contacts that handle custody, booking, court, and records requests. This site is private and cannot confirm a person’s location, release anyone, obtain a record, or give legal advice.

Cass County Busted Mugshots is not a government office. For an official custody answer, a release question, a booking record, or a court filing, contact the agency or court that created and holds that record.

Questions about this site

General site comments can be sent through the contact method made available by the site operator. Messages cannot be used to locate a person, correct an agency record, confirm a warrant, or request a booking photograph. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a general site message.

Cass County Sheriff and jail

For current Cass County custody routing, a sheriff-held booking record, or a booking-photo request, start with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. The county directs written public-information requests to the department that has custody of the record. Ask the general number to confirm the current public-information route because no separate records email, records-unit line, photo fee schedule, or records hours were verified.

Booking-record requests

A written request should give the full name, approximate booking or arrest date, booking number when known, arresting agency, requested existing record, and desired delivery format. Specify whether the request is for the booking record, booking photograph, or release notation. Do not send a sheriff-image request only to the County Clerk, since the clerk does not possess the sheriff’s booking system.

Texas Public Information Act guidance calls for prompt production or a certification of later availability where a record cannot be produced within ten business days. Charges can apply under state rules, but no sheriff-specific booking-photo fee was identified. Ask for an itemized estimate.

Court and disposition contacts

For court status after booking, contact the appropriate clerk or court. Court records are not handled as a generic Chapter 552 request to an unrelated department.

City police records

For the incident record from a municipal arrest, start with the city department. Atlanta PD is at 310 N Louise Street, Atlanta, TX 75551, 903-796-7973. Linden PD is at 409 Blaylock Street, Linden, TX 75563, 903-756-5544, and publishes a form route through its records links page. Hughes Springs PD is at 603 East 1st Street, Hughes Springs, TX 75656, 903-639-2621; City Hall is 903-639-7519. Confirm the proper PIA custodian before sending a request.

State and federal custody

A person in state prison, on parole, or on mandatory supervision may be located through TDCJ rather than Cass County Jail. A federal custody question belongs with the Bureau of Prisons locator, and an immigration-detention location question belongs with ICE. These systems do not replace the Cass County booking record or court file.
