About Cass County Records

Cass County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site for locating the public offices and official systems that handle Cass County booking, custody, court, and corrections records. It is not a government service and does not hold official records.

Purpose and scope

The site organizes publicly available routes to the Cass County Sheriff, county and district clerks, city police departments, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and related official locators. It explains the different custody states shown by a current roster, a recent-booking window, a court docket, or a state-prison search.

The pages are written as a records-navigation reference. They do not display a booking-photo gallery, maintain a jail roster, publish a criminal-history file, or decide what any record means. An arrest entry is an accusation and a court disposition remains the better source for the outcome.

Independent operation

This is privately operated and has no affiliation with Cass County, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Cass County Jail, a city police department, TDCJ, a court, or another government agency. It cannot verify custody, release a person, change a government record, file a legal document, or provide legal advice.

For an official booking record, contact the agency that holds it. For a court matter, contact the clerk or court. For state custody, use the appropriate TDCJ channel. Source details can change, so confirmation with the originating office is always appropriate.

How the sources are selected

Official county, city, state, court, and federal sources are given priority. The Cass County research also identifies historical newspapers and a limited number of unofficial indexes as context. Those secondary sources are described with a warning that they can be incomplete, dated, or disconnected from the official record.

The site does not treat a booking photo, charge, bond amount, release notation, or roster placement as proof of guilt. It also does not try to defeat a seal, expunction, or other lawful restriction on a record.

Search partners

Some search widgets or links connect visitors with independent search partners. The operators of those tools set their own terms, data practices, results, and pricing. Referral fees may be received when a visitor uses a partner service. That relationship does not change the private, non-governmental nature of this site or make a partner result an official Cass County record.
